“China and India are both big pharmaceutical countries, but they have different advantages.” James Ho pointed out that China has obvious advantages in the production of APIs. In the past, India mainly imported APIs from China to produce generic drugs. Because of the abundant available capital, with government policy support, China also has great advantages in innovative drugs.

“India has been very successful in the process and technology of generic drugs. We have very good experience to follow. This will help improve the quality of generic drugs in China. Secondly, the cost of clinical research in India is very low, and they have enough test sites .The subjects can greatly save R&D expenses, and the cost is only about 1/3 of China's.”

"If China and India, the two major pharmaceutical countries, cooperate and complement each other's strengths, they can produce more cheaper, effective and safe drugs for the people of the two countries."
